These Terms and Conditions govern all bookings made with GMH Chauffeur Service LTD, a company registered in England & Wales (14076852) with registered office at 26 Ashley Close, Rochdale OL11 3EP United Kingdom. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms.
The term "GMH," "the Company," "us," or "we" refers to GMH Chauffeur Service LTD. The term "the Client" or "you" refers to the user or passenger of our services.
Bookings
All bookings are subject to availability and the following conditions:
- A booking is confirmed only once the Company has issued a written confirmation or email.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse or cancel any booking at its discretion.
- The Client must provide accurate information regarding pick-up locations, destinations, and passenger details.
Payment
Our payment terms ensure seamless service delivery:
- Payment is required in full or via agreed deposit at the time of booking.
- Accepted payment methods include Credit/Debit Card, Bank Transfer, and PayPal.
- Any outstanding balance must be paid prior to or at the start of the journey.
- Failure to pay may result in cancellation of the booking.
Cancellation Policy
Our policy is structured to manage chauffeur availability effectively:
Standard Bookings:
- Customers are able to cancel their booking free of charge up until 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.
- Cancellations made within 2 hours of the pickup time may incur a full journey charge.
Wedding & Special Event Bookings:
- More than 1 month notice: Deposit non-refundable.
- Less than 7 days notice: 100% of total hire cost charged.
No Show Policy:
If passengers fail to meet the chauffeur and do not contact the Company within the complimentary waiting period, the booking is classed as a “No Show” and 100% of the journey price is payable.
Refunds, where applicable, will be processed within 5–10 working days via the original payment method.
Chauffeur & Vehicle Standards
- GMH Chauffeur Service chauffeurs are professionally trained and maintain high standards of conduct.
- Vehicles provided are fully licensed, insured, clean, and maintained to executive standards.
- The Company reserves the right to substitute vehicles or drivers in exceptional circumstances, with notice wherever possible.
Client Responsibilities
- Clients must be ready at the scheduled pick-up time.
- The Company is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, flight delays, or other unforeseen events.
- Clients are responsible for ensuring passengers adhere to local laws (e.g., seatbelts, child restraints).
- Passengers must behave safely and respectfully. The chauffeur may refuse service if a passenger poses a threat to safety or public order.
Liability
- The Company accepts liability for loss or damage to personal property only if caused by negligence of the chauffeur or the Company.
- The Company is not responsible for consequential losses, indirect losses, or missed appointments.
- Maximum liability is limited to the value of the booking paid.
Safety & Compliance
- All journeys must comply with UK road traffic and private hire laws.
- Passengers must behave safely and respectfully. The chauffeur may refuse service if a passenger poses a threat to safety or public order.
Special Requests
- Clients may request specific vehicles, chauffeurs, or amenities. Such requests are subject to availability and confirmation.
- The Company will endeavour to meet requests but cannot guarantee them.
Privacy & Data Protection
- Client data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and Data Protection legislation.
- Personal information is used only for booking, invoicing, and communication purposes.
- Data will not be shared with third parties for marketing without consent.
Complaints
- Complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the journey.
- The Company will investigate and respond within 14 days.
Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- The parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Changes to Terms
- GMH Chauffeur Service reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.
- Updated terms will apply to all bookings made after publication.
