Pricing & Booking FAQs
How is hourly hire charged?
Hourly hire is charged from the scheduled pickup time, not from when you enter the vehicle.
What are your hourly rates?
Rates are per vehicle, per hour: Business Class (E-Class) £35, First Class (S-Class) £60 and Business Van (V-Class) £50. A minimum booking applies and your total is confirmed when you book.
When do I pay?
Payment is required in full, or via an agreed deposit, at the time of booking. Any outstanding balance is due before or at the start of the journey. Approved corporate-account clients are invoiced instead.
Is there any complimentary waiting time?
Yes. For hotel or residential address pickups, 15 minutes of complimentary waiting time is included.
How is extra time charged?
Time beyond your booked hours is charged at the same hourly rate for your vehicle (Business Class £35, First Class £60, Business Van £50 per hour), billed in 15-minute increments.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up until 6 hours before the scheduled pickup time. Cancellations within 6 hours may incur a full journey charge, and a no-show is charged at 100% of the journey price. We may waive charges for exceptional circumstances, such as flight cancellations beyond your control, confirmed in writing.
Can I smoke during a full-day hire?
No. Smoking of any kind, including e-cigarettes and vapes, is strictly prohibited in all GMH vehicles.
What if the vehicle is damaged or soiled?
Passengers are responsible for any damage or excessive soiling. Specialist valet or cleaning fees may apply, typically between £50 and £150.
Can luggage be kept inside the cabin?
No. All luggage must fit securely in the boot. If luggage exceeds the vehicle capacity we may be unable to carry it, and the booking fee remains payable.
